In Home automation, your imagination is the only limitation to what the system could do. A good automation idea need not necessary be a complicated one but certainly it has to be a most practicable one. Start by asking questions: what would you like the system to do for you which would make your family more comfortable, easier, and safer. Think about convenience, energy conservation, safety & security when planning for a home automation system. Other things to consider are possibilities of making changes, upgrading etc.

Here's Our key thought to the implementation of a successful Home Automation System...

" Home Automation System Should Make Your Living Easier,
More Comfortable And Not More Complicated. "

  • Smart Lighting - Interior/exterior lights connected to receiver modules allow remote or keypad control anywhere in the home. This also allows timers, Intelligent and PC based controllers such as PC Control Kits to automatically schedule and control lighting throughout home.

  • Home Scenario - Simply configure the PC Controller to your desire setting. When you come home, by pushing a single button, your key chain remote will send a signal to the Transceiver. The transceiver will then trigger the pre-programmed macros stored in the PC Interface Module. The sequence could simply be switching off the security alarm, open your automatic gate, turn on your porch light, turn on some house lighting, perimeter lighting, TV, radio etc. and few minutes later you porch light could be off, you perimeter lighting and house lighting is dimmed to your desired level and so on........again, your imagination is the only limitation.

  • Bed Time Scenario - Have the system flashes or dim the lights in your children's room, reminding them it's time to bed, and 5 minutes later dim the light to a comfortable level to prepare for a good night sleep. You can also pre-program different bed times during week end or holidays, that is if you allow then to stay late at night.

  • Good Night Scenario - Have the system turn on the security alarm, turn on some safety lighting, initiate time duration for garden lighting, set the lighting to the preset brightness, and if you like switch on your favorite night music to give you a pleasant rest.

  • Morning Scenario -The routine starts with turning on some safety lighting; perhaps in the bathroom area, kitchen, living room, hallway, or stair areas. Starting the coffee pot brewing, tune to your favorite radio channel, or even select your favorite TV station.

  • Vacation Scenario - the system turns off all dangerous appliances; making sure the gate is closed and the alarm system is on. It can also create scenario to give your house the lived in look. You might choose Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to turn on different lights at different times and different appliances such as your TV or stereo to give your house the lived in look. At this time you may also want to invoke "Intrusion Prevention" as well. While away for holiday, you could call home via telephone ti turn on or off devices. If you carry along your note book computer, you could also dial in to your house via modem to control and monitor the status of your house.

    More to come......!
