take note that installation of
in-line module, where it is to
be connected to the wall or ceiling
lighting unit, must only be done
by a competent personnel trained
to perform electrical wiring installations.
Follow all manufacturer's instructions
on how to install the Home Automation
Components. None of them have
dealer or consumer serviceable
parts inside. Opening cases will
void warranty.

Safety
Precaution
DO NOT exceed the ratings
of the Module, these are:
Lamp Module
300 watts maximum for SH-2000
and SH-2000P,
for incandescent lamp only.
Appliance Module
Rated 15 Amp. for resistive
load such as coffee pots and
heaters.
1/3 H.P for motor load. 400
watts for TV sets. 500 watts
for incandescent lamps because
of the "inrush current"
from a cold lamp.
Power Interruption
When power is restored from
a power failure, lamp modules
will normally be OFF. Fluorescent/Appliance
modules however
have a "latching relay
mechanism" and will stay
as they were before the power
interruption.
Unattended Operation
Do Not use for heavy duty heating
appliances or anything which
would be dangerous if it were
turned on remotely while unattended,
An example would be and electric
fan with poorly protected blades
example.
You must exercise good common
sense, especially with scheduling
unattended devices. There can
be undesirable consequences
if you are not careful. For
example, an empty coffee maker
can be remotely turned on. If
that should happen, your coffee
maker could be damaged from
overheating. If an electrical
heater is turned on by remote
control while flammable items
are placed very near to it,
a fire could result.
